The GID is under the Ministry of Interior of The Republic of The Gambia. 

The office of the director of immigration wishes to inform the general public that all Aliens residing in the Gambia are been advised to regularize their status with immediate effect failure of which shall lead to necessary legal actions against the concerned persons. The office of the director general of immigration is also soliciting the support of the general public.
